Vegetation fire reported near Lake Skinner Wednesday afternoon

As part of Wednesday afternoon's mayhem, a vegetation fire was reported in the Temecula Valley Wine Country at 1:54pm.

Few details were known, but the fire was at Warren Road and Summitville Street, past the wineries, about five miles from the Temecula city limits, and south of Lake Skinner.

Gusty winds from thunderstorm activity could hinder efforts to get the fire under control.
